At our unique, dedicated motorsport facility, we develop precision sand castings for racing, rally engine and transmission programs.
We understand motorsport. More importantly, we understand our motorsport customers. This includes your unique confidentiality requirements and the need for high-integrity, precise aluminium sand castings delivered quickly.
We’ve developed a specific roll-over casting process to produce the Formula One-grade castings demanded by the global motorsport industry.
We use the flexibility of prototype sand casting to create high-complexity, high-integrity components in a wide range of motorsport alloys.
We produce key performance parts such as cylinder heads, lightweight racing engine blocks, and other structural engine components using advanced sand casting technology.
Gibson GK428 engines, cast by Grainger & Worrall, were used by all 20 cars on the LMP2 grid. Grainger & Worrall have worked with Gibson Technology for many years, with engineers from both businesses collaborating to deliver reliable, accurate, F1-grade cast Gibson engines.
Bringing 3D sand core printing in-house has allowed us to produce cores of almost any shape overnight. We use this cutting-edge technology to develop robust casting methods and adjust component geometry before final tooling for production.
This enables us to meet the extremely short lead and production times demanded by F1 customers. It also gives us crucial flexibility to modify designs.
